Training Material

I want to attend the training. How do I join?

First, register here. Then check your email for a confirmation from Eventbrite that includes the password to enter the Participant Portal. If you don't see the registration confirmation email, check your spam, and if you  still don't see it please contact NAICJA. 

Will the presentations, training material, and recordings be available?

Yes. Most materials will be available after the conference in the Participant Portal. Kindly allow us time to gather the material and check back in a few weeks. Thank you for your patience!

Technology

 

How do I download and use Zoom?

While Zoom is accessible from an online browser and without an account, we recommend you sign up and download Zoom to have access to all Zoom features during the training, such as polls.

How do I join the webinar?

Click the button labeled Zoom Webinar at the top of the page. Make sure you enter the password, which was shared by Eventbrite email and can be found on the Participant Portal.

Can I turn on my microphone or video during the training?

No, attendees cannot turn on their video. Attendees can turn on their microphone only when permitted by the host. To ask questions, use the Q&A feature found on the bottom of your Zoom screen. For technology related questions, please use the "raise hand" reaction feature found on your Zoom tool bar, and technical support will contact you.

Why am I having trouble seeing the polls?

Some attendees experience difficulty viewing the polls. It is possible that the Zoom poll is tucked behind your Zoom window. To check on a computer, exit the full screen view of the webinar. Then, minimize the webinar to see if you can find the poll elsewhere on your screen. Otherwise, we have found that downloading Zoom, rather than signing in from your online browser, helps to mitigate this viewing issue.

 

I am having trouble with Zoom functionality, who can I contact for help?

For technology related questions, message technical support in the Zoom chat feature by selecting "host and panelists" as the recipients of the chat. Or, please use the "raise hand" reaction feature found on your Zoom tool bar, and technical support will contact you directly. You can also email trainings@whitenergroup.biz.
